Dentures
Missing teeth? Dentures are a reliable and affordable way to bring back your smile, boost your confidence, and help you enjoy eating and speaking again.
Whether you need a full or partial solution, we’ll help you find the perfect fit to feel like yourself again.
What Are Dentures?
Dentures, often called false teeth, are custom-made prosthetic appliances designed to replace missing teeth. Whether you've lost teeth due to gum disease, injury, or decay, dentures can help restore your smile, support your facial structure, and improve everyday function—comfortably and affordably.
Crafted to closely mimic the look of natural teeth and gums, dentures are made from high-quality materials like acrylic or porcelain. They not only look great but also help with chewing, speaking, and maintaining oral health.
While traditional dentures are removable, modern options like implant-supported dentures offer added stability and confidence—no more slipping or discomfort.
At Limestone Coast Dental, we’re proud to have a state-of-the-art dental laboratory right here on site. Our experienced dental technician, with over 20 years in the field, works closely with our clinicians to ensure every denture is crafted with precision, comfort, and aesthetics in mind. With everything managed under one roof, you can expect a faster turnaround, fewer appointments, and a perfect, personalised fit.
Types of Veneers

Full Dentures
Full dentures are designed to replace a complete set of missing teeth—whether in the upper jaw, lower jaw, or both. Upper dentures gently sit against the palate, while lower ones rest on the gum line for a secure and comfortable fit. They're an ideal solution for those who have lost all their natural teeth and want to restore their smile, confidence, and quality of life

Partial Dentures
Partial dentures are a great option if you're missing just a few teeth. These custom-made appliances clip comfortably onto your remaining natural teeth using slim, discreet clasps—blending in seamlessly with your smile. They’re available in strong chrome-cobalt or lightweight acrylic, offering flexibility to suit your needs and lifestyle.

Implant Supported Dentures
Implant-supported dentures offer a secure, long-lasting solution for those with significant tooth loss. Anchored by dental implants, they provide added strength, stability, and confidence—no slipping, clicking, or adhesives needed. Whether you need a full or partial denture, this option feels more natural and allows you to eat, speak, and smile with ease.
Benefits of Dentures
Dentures not only restore your smile's appearance but also enhance your dental function. With improved chewing ability, you can enjoy a more varied diet without restrictions. Dentures also help maintain the alignment of remaining healthy teeth, preventing them from becoming crooked and facilitating easier brushing and flossing for better overall dental hygiene.

Which Type of Denture Is Right for You?
This denture replaces one or more teeth within the dental arch. False teeth are made and placed on a metal and acrylic appliance that snaps into place using the existing teeth for support. These are easy to remove and care for and can be adjusted as needed.
A full denture is used to replace all the teeth in a dental arch.
It also provides realistic acrylic gum tissue, so they look as natural as possible when in place. Patients can hold these dentures in place with natural suction or dental adhesive.
For patients seeking optimum stability, strength, and function, all-on-four dental implants may be the best option. This option requires placing a minimum of 4 dental implants and a dental bridge is then screwed into these implants. This dental bridge can only be removed by the dentist. Patients no longer need to use dental adhesives and experience better function and appearance.
Do you have a loose denture that no longer fits well? Do you have a denture that is causing sore spots and pain? There is a great option to help solve the problem. Sometimes when the teeth have been missing for a while, the dentures will no longer stay in place making it difficult to chew and smile. When this happens, as few as two implants can be placed to help hold the denture in place. This option allows you to remove the denture to clean and maintain on your own at home.

The cost of dentures can depend on a few different factors. The price may depend on the scale of the treatment and the condition of your teeth. Each situation can be unique. We recommend booking a consultation with a dentist. At the consultation appointment, they will examine your teeth and be able to give you an estimate of the price.
It will usually take you a bit of time to adjust to your new dentures and eating may be a bit uncomfortable for a few weeks. We recommend eating soft foods and small pieces of food to start off with. Once you become used to your new dentures you will be able to return to your normal diet. You should continue to be careful when eating hard, hot or sticky foods.
It’s important to keep your dentures clean as they’re prone to stains, plaque and tartar build-up. Just like brushing your teeth cleaning dentures is an easy and necessary process. A recommended cleaning process for full or partial dentures involves, using a denture-cleaning tablet in warm water (make sure it’s not too hot and enough to cover the denture). The next step is to use a soft brush and gently brush your dentures just like you would brush your teeth. Once you’ve brushed your dentures, rinse it thoroughly underwater.
Dentures typically last between 5 to 10 years. Over time changes in your mouth and wear on the dentures can affect their fit and function. Regular dental check-ups, proper care, and timely adjustments or relining can help extend the lifespan of your dentures. Eventually, replacement may be needed to ensure comfort and performance.
