At Limestone Coast Dental, we proudly support programs that make dental care more accessible for our community, including Medicare for children, Department of Veterans’ Affairs entitlements and hospital dental vouchers, with our friendly team here to support you throughout the process.
Child Dental Benefit Scheme (CDBS)
At Limestone Coast Dental, children under 17 can access bulk billed dental care through the Medicare Child Dental Benefit Scheme, with no out-of-pocket cost for eligible families.
The scheme provides up to $1,132 in benefits over a two-year period. This covers a wide range of treatments, including check-ups, x-rays, cleaning, fillings, root canals, extractions, and fissure sealants.
Your child may be eligible if they:
- Are aged 0 to 17 years in the calendar year
- Have a Medicare card
- Receive, or are part of a family receiving, a relevant Australian Government payment
Our friendly team can check your child’s eligibility and benefit balance at each visit, and guide you through what’s covered, so you can be confident your child receives the care they’re entitled to.
Veterans' Dental Support
At Limestone Coast Dental, we are honoured to care for those who have served. Holders of a Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) Gold Card are entitled to a wide range of dental treatments, fully covered by DVA.
Simply bring your Gold Card to your appointment, and our friendly team will take care of the rest, ensuring the process is smooth and stress-free.
Dental Hospital Vouchers
At Limestone Coast Dental, we accept patients referred through Mount Gambier Hospital and other Limestone Coast region hospitals in South Australia, ensuring the highest quality of dental care is accessible for our community and the people of Mount Gambier.
We participate in a range of hospital dental schemes, including:
- Emergency Dental Scheme (EDS)

- Prosthetic Dental Scheme (PDS)
